Moss Street Gallery
For over 20 years, my art has been displayed in various French Quarter galleries, restaurants, and coffee shops throughout New Orleans. Pre-Katrina, my studio was in the Faubourg St. John neighborhood of Mid City, New Orleans. Following Katrina, I re-established myself in the charming community of Algiers Point.
A driving force behind my work comes from the people, places, music, and food of New Orleans. With so many themes, I try and paint what is familiar to me, such as the local scenery and hangouts in my neighborhood. Also New Orleans Music is a BIG part of my art. I aim to capture, the sounds of the city, with vibrantly colored backgrounds that simulate music on a canvas. In addition to New Orleans my world travels have inspired a way to express moments in time on canvas that help recall the place visited.
I continue to work out of my studio, Moss Street Gallery, and I am also available for commissioned pieces.
